TITLE: Warehouse Worker (Union) – GLW
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Being able to stand and work on feet for most of the shift
• Able to lift at least 50 – 100 lbs when required
• Miscellaneous warehouse duties – i.e. painting, boxing supplies, etc.
• Forklift experience preferred but not required
• Stock shelves
• Help load and unload trucks for delivery in a safe and timely fashion
• Assist in general housekeeping of warehouse and display area
• Follow all union related requirements and regulations
• Able to check voicemails when necessary, as back up
• Helping with open and closing of doors, docks, and showroom

TITLE: Will Call Representative – GLW
OVERVIEW:
You will be trusted to organize the store when you are onsite and give continued friendly and approachable customer service. There is a lot of potential in this position to manage your career and be trusted by management to do a good job
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Knowledge of what products we have in the warehouse
• Key mindset of this position is the showroom should be considered Yours’s to manage therefore additional responsibilities related to this goal will consist of keeping the showroom clean and restocking when necessary.
• Administrative duties to include: checking voicemails in the am, terminal management, opening and closing of doors, docks, and showroom floor.

TITLE: Production Planner/Scheduler – WV
OVERVIEW:
You will schedule and prioritize the Door Department’s manufacturing in cooperation with the Door Department Manager and Purchasing. You will maintain a schedule for each manufacturing operation to meet production goals. When the acceptance of new orders is considered, you will provide a tentative schedule.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Planning, scheduling and coordinating production of the Door Department’s jobs
• Work with Door Purchasing to ensure everything is in place for production
• Provide tentative delivery dates when the company is quoting new orders
• Scheduling jobs in a timely fashion for the Customer’s needs
• Tracking jobs to make sure they are staying on time
• Notify Sales if jobs are behind
• Watch costs to ensure the production process stays within budget
• Report on the production status and any production issues to upper management
• Handle production disruptions and productivity problems
• Find ways to improve productivity and reduce costs
• Create lists for each job to determine what needs ordered for the job
• Arranging with the warehouse for customer product pickup
• Following-up on each delivery to ensure the shipment arrived on time with all items accounted for

TITLE: Door Inside Sales – WV
OVERVIEW:
You will provide assistance to customers as they purchase the materials and tools they need for a wide variety of door replacement projects. From the moment you greet customers until their sales have been finalized, you will provide them with superior service and exterior building supply expertise. In this role, it is helpful to have experience with exterior building supplies, primarily and doors, so that you are familiar with the various products and associated terminology.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Determining customers’ needs and recommending appropriate products and solutions
Following product/supply checklist for each customer’s specific job and up-selling additional products and supplies for that job
Answering customer questions and offering product advice
Accepting payment and applying it to the appropriate customer account
Arranging with the warehouse for customer product pickup
Following-up on each delivery to ensure the shipment arrived on time with all items accounted for

OVERVIEW: Candidate will be able to cut, grind, drill and polish glass. This candidate will handle sheets of glass in the warehouse meeting the specifications of the customer’s request. This candidate must have previous Glazier experience.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Knowledge how to install glass, doors, frames, and necessary hardware needed
• Able to lift 100 – 150 lbs with assistance
• Installs glass in millwork products, such as doors, window sashes, china closets, and office partitions: Places door or sash on worktable and inserts precut glass in opening, or inserts glass as products pass on conveyor, using either of following methods: Inserts precut molding into window opening around edges of glass and taps molding against glass edges, using hammer and wood block.
• Tacks molding to frame, using hammer or staple gun.
• Fastens glass into window opening, driving glazier’s points into frame over glass, using point-driving tool.
• Presses and smoothes putty into angle formed by glass and wood to make joint watertight, using putty knife.
• Spread sealing compound around edges of opening before inserting glass, using air gun or knife.
• Fit framed glass into openings in doors and screw frame to door, using screwdriver. Aluminum store front installation a plus.
• Cut glass.
• May be designated according to glass installed as Door-Glass Installer; Window Assembler.
COMPETENCIES
• At least 3 years of experience doing glazier work
• Professional demeanor at all times
• Good time management and organizational skills
• Knowledge of math when using measurements
• Knowledge how to run all power tool equipment beneficial (Drill, circular saw, etc.)
