We have been serving the construction industry in Western PA and West Virginia since 1969. We are currently looking for a Rebar Fabricator for our WV office.
TITLE: Steel Rebar Estimator – WV
OVERVIEW:
Candidate will have previous experience in construction project management, be organized, motivated, detail-oriented and driven.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Review and evaluate cost estimates
• Communicate with trade partners and team members regarding new and current projects
• Prepare estimates and purchase orders in detail for all products
• Ensure timely completion of estimates
• Understand scope of work to bid
• Manage bid pricing from all vendors
• Prepare cost analysis
• Establish and maintain working relationships with vendors and subcontractors
COMPETENCIES:
• Experience with fabricating rebar, or doing rebar take off
• 3+ years’ experience in construction estimating
• Able to read aSa software
• Able to read blueprints and develop cost estimates
• Able to make placement drawings for rebar
• Able to do material takeoff
• Strong understanding of construction processes
• Proficiency with MS Word and Excel
• Able to multi-task and meet strict deadlines
• Impeccable problem-solving skills
• Sales experience also a plus

TITLE: Ecommerce Editor – Part-time
OVERVIEW:
The Ecommerce Editor is responsible for maintaining and updating product information on our business to business eCommerce site. This includes creating and editing product descriptions and images for our construction products. Products include materials used in heavy and highway construction as well as residential construction. The Product Editor will work closely with the purchasing and sales teams to ensure that all product information is accurate and up-to-date.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Import, create and edit product descriptions and images for construction products on the eCommerce site
Ensure that all product information is accurate and up-to-date
Work closely with the purchasing and sales teams to ensure that products are listed in a timely manner
Monitor and analyze product performance and make recommendations for changes as necessary
Optimize product pages for search engine optimization (SEO)
Ensure that all products are properly categorized and easy to find
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to product information and images
Keep products up-to-date as the industry changes
COMPETENCIES:
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in construction distribution setting
Prefer experience with WordPress and nopCommerce platforms
Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Basic knowledge of SEO optimization, preferred
Knowledge of highway construction products, equipment, and materials is a plus
REPORTS TO: IT Manager
HOURS: 15-20 hours during Monday–Friday between 7:00 am–4:00 pm
DEGREE: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing Technology or related field
This is a 15-20 hour work week to be scheduled between Monday – Friday from 7:00 am – 4 pm with lunch and breaks given accordingly. It is located in our Pittsburgh office.

OVERVIEW:
This candidate will be trained in-house and work with other Inside Counter Sales Associate. They will work to meet customers’ needs and answer questions in a timely fashion. They should always have the best interest of the customer and George L. Wilson & Co, Inc. in mind. This position is located in our Apollo office.

· Help with inventory, ordering, counting, stocking shelves

· Ship and receive UPS packages
· Troubleshoot questions from customers
