TITLE: Carpenter
OVERVIEW: A carpenter is responsible for working with wood to build and repair structures and other items and they also may have to select and source appropriate materials depending on project needs. Their duties include calculating quotes, meeting with clients and creating design plans for remodeling projects.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Knowledge how to install glass, doors, frames, and necessary hardware needed
Able to lift 100 – 150 lbs with assistance
Installs glass in millwork products, such as doors, and partitions.
Fastens glass into window opening, driving glazier’s points into frame over glass, using point-driving tool.
Presses and smoothes putty into angle formed by glass and wood to make joint watertight, using putty knife.
Spread sealing compound around edges of opening before inserting glass, using caulking gun or knife.
Fit framed glass into openings in doors and screw frame to door, using screwdriver.
Learn to cut glass.
Adding fixtures and fittings such as door handles, locks, hinges and closures
Calculating the number of fasteners required for each job
Liaising with clients, suppliers and other construction professionals
Reading blueprints and designs to work to specifications prepared by other construction professionals, architects and building code recommendations
COMPETENCIES
At least 3 years of experience doing carpentry work
Professional demeanor at all times
Good time management and organizational skills
Knowledge of math when using measurements
Knowledge how to run all power tool equipment beneficial (Drill, circular saw, etc.)
REPORTS TO: Sr. Glazier
HOURS: Monday – Friday; 7 am – 3:30 pm; no weekend hours
DEGREE: High school diploma
This is a Monday – Friday shift from 7 am – 3:30 pm with lunch and breaks given accordingly. This is a 40 hour work week. It is located in our Bridgeport, WV office.

OVERVIEW: Candidates should be experienced, reliable and task-oriented Benefits Manager. They will work directly with management and will be responsible for performing benefit and administrative duties. INSURANCE – all 5 offices, Health Insurance, STD, LTD, AD & D, Supplemental, Worker’s Compensation, Flood Insurance, Business Insurances,etc.
Strong understanding of the ACA (Affordable Care Act) tracking, reviewing, 1095C forms
Year End Compliance testing for the Vanguard Profit Sharing 401(k) plan Sister Company’s 401(k) plan
Administer 401(k) retirement plan, including filing the Form 5500
Complete quarterly reports to the US Department of Labor to submit the company’s employment and wages data via a website portal
Make travel arrangements for employees as requested
Manage corporate credit cards

Maintain an organized filing system of paper and electronic documents
Develop and sustain a level of professionalism among staff and clientele
Review and approve request for educational benefit

Review and Approve the Batch / and Client Verification Report
Review the Data Quality Control Report
Generate and approve the 1095C forms to go to the printer and the file to go to the IRS

Audit – meet with an auditor for onsite audits, or prepare wage information for phone audits and upload to the audit website.
Insurance ID cards for vehicles – provide appropriate cards to location managers per DRIVE locations
INSURANCE – Health Insurance, Short Term Disability, Long Term Disability, AD&D , Life Insurance
Health Insurance – Process application, verify that employees receive their insurance cards. Track employee hires, fires and changes..
Short Term Disability, Long Term Disability, AD&D , Life Insurance – Process new hires and terminations. Send to employees insurance forms as needed; complete the employer portion and process claims.
INSURANCE – Supplemental Insurance (Colonial) – Provide new hire info to Building Blocks (3rd party administrator)

TITLE: Outside Sales Representative – GLW – Central WV
OVERVIEW:
This candidate will be trained in-house before stepping into outside role. Territory be covering the Central portion of West Virginia.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Make personal sales calls at customer sites on regular basis
Stay current on existing & emerging products
Blueprint reading experience a plus
Follow-up on all generated quotes
Assist customers with problem-solving
Construction knowledge a plus
Bridge or Highway experience a plus
Execute sales efforts in an ethical and professional manner while representing company on and offsite
Ability to lift, carry, and transport work-related materials to client site (frequently weighing 80 lbs, occasionally more than 80 lbs. Company truck provided.)
Ability to visit and move around at construction and other work sites, including the ability to maneuver in tight or small spaces

OVERVIEW: Candidate will be able to cut, grind, drill and polish glass. This candidate will handle sheets of glass in the warehouse meeting the specifications of the customer’s request. This candidate must have previous Glazier experience.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Able to lift 100 – 150 lbs with assistance
• Installs glass in millwork products, such as doors, window sashes, china closets, and office partitions: Places door or sash on worktable and inserts precut glass in opening, or inserts glass as products pass on conveyor, using either of following methods: Inserts precut molding into window opening around edges of glass and taps molding against glass edges, using hammer and wood block.
• Tacks molding to frame, using hammer or staple gun.
• Fastens glass into window opening, driving glazier’s points into frame over glass, using point-driving tool.
• Presses and smoothes putty into angle formed by glass and wood to make joint watertight, using putty knife.
• Spread sealing compound around edges of opening before inserting glass, using air gun or knife.
• Fit framed glass into openings in doors and screw frame to door, using screwdriver. Aluminum store front installation a plus.
• Cut glass.
• May be designated according to glass installed as Door-Glass Installer; Window Assembler.
