Farewell George H

February 6, 2026

George H. retired with us on Friday, January 30th from the Pulaski office. George has been with George L. Wilson & Co., Inc for 23 years.
He started in Will Call in the Pittsburgh office, then moved to Inside Sales when Greg took the Branch Manager position in 2007. There he became a Gold Certified STIHL Mechanic, which helped the office get an elite status with the company.

George also got his MBA while at Wilson’s by going to Point Park College at night. One of his best memories was going to the World of Concrete conference in Las Vegas with Greg. They learned a lot but had a lot of fun too. We asked George what he planned to do after retirement and he stated, “A lot of hunting and fishing but also spending a lot of time with his grandkids.” George also laughed and said, “Both of his sons have a project list for him!” He will definitely be kept busy.

George is excited to fly to Mt. Rushmore for 2 weeks then drive back taking his time to enjoy the scenery with his wife, Debbie, sons, Jeremy and Lance, their wives, Jeremy’s twins, Mason & Logan (16), as well as Mackenzie (20), and Lance’s kids Liam (13), Natalie (16).

George is wrapping up with his final words saying, “Learned a lot, gave a lot, did a lot!” The Pulaski office celebrated George’s
retirement on Friday, January 30th by hosting a catered lunch and presenting him with an engraved watch.
