SOF Rod is extremely flexible, is a bi-cellular polyethylene foam backer rod product. It is non-gassing to aid in preventing sealants from bubbling and failure.
OCFoam is used in window glazing and other applications that require polyurethane sealants. OCFoam is an open-cell polyurethane foam backer rod that is available in yellow or black. Sizes are from 3/8″ to 2″.
HBR, a closed-cell polyethylene foam backer rod joint filler is used as a backing material for elastomeric and other cold-applied sealants. HBR helps the sealant assume the best shape to prolong service life while acting as a barrier to the flow of sealant through the joint. Does not absorb water, and is available in 1/4″ to 6″ diameter.
HBR XL used with hot-pour sealants up to 410 degrees F. HBR XL is a cross-linked foam backer rod joint filler, white in color and available in sizes from 3/8″ to 2″ in diameter.
